Anyone else having issue playing video from youtube or any internal video where a video would freeze while the audio continues to play? I did everyhing, where I installed Lollipop from Odin, restore to KitKat and update to lollipop through Kies and it's still. The same thing. Any idea? I also cleared the cache and wiped user data.

Actually I'm also having issues with the local video player. The funny things is, it happens at around 1:10 mark for youtube and local video player. When I go back to 4.4.2, it would play fine without any issues.

I'm surprised that there's not much people are experiencing the same, or that you're the only one aside from me is experiencing the issue.

Is that really the case?

possible fix hope it works

how did u updated to lollipop by odin or by OTA by carrier? i updated by odin and had the exact issue while playing any video on any player or website the image would freeze and audio kept playing and other bug was that i had to re enter wifi password every single time i restarted phone. then i kept looking for possible solutions in the original post of the update and came accross that was cause of my baseband that didnt upgraded and kept my 4.4.2 baseband with the 5.0 firmware. the solution was to start from scratch and do a factory reset and wiped dalvik cache and cleared all from the TWRP recovery then instead of rebooting i turned phone off, removed battery for like 5-6 minutes and then booted directly to download mode to flash everything in the exact way its posted on the original post. also be carefull to follow the two red notes that says to under any circunstances dont let phone do the first boot every step u finish in odin once phone restart automatically boot it directly to the download mode and keep flashing in the exact order.

go check on settings if baseband is same to the build number/firmware... it worked for me hope it helps heres the link to the instructions and downloads

Has anyone tested the above? I'd hate to do another wipe, but if it'll fix the Wi-Fi issues and the video playback issues I'll do it. Just looking for some validity to the statement first.

yes it actually fixed the issue... in fact...the fix was in the original thread in the comments by the developer of the thread..i suggest a full backup in titanium back up for easy management of installed apps and and user settings/accounts. first of all check if your baseband is different one with the current build number... assuming you are in a tmobile note 3 with stock touchwiz lollipop... note how both build number and basebands shows N900TUVUFOB6 if u see them showing any different that's what causing your problem... the full wipe of cache dalvik and data from recovery and then removing battery for a few minutes without phone making the initial boot is the fix... good luck hope it helps

start by backing up all your apps/settings then enter boot recovery and wipe all cache and dalvik and do a full factory reset then once it finished remove battery for a few minutes and boot directly to download mode without doing the initial boot of the rom...(the one that takes a little while to boot the rom and takes u to phone setup as when u first unboxed your phone THIS IS CRUCIAL) Then flash the original 5.0 lollipop touchwiz with odin with the steps i provided few post up.... there's the link to the original thread as well were u can check the original troubleshoot by the developers of the thread... follow all the steps strictly as u see in the first post there and press thanks button to show respect to the developers

My problem for any custom ROM on my android running JB 4.2.2 is that, everytime I installed a custom ROM everything works fine but there is problem in video streaming (video playback
going too fast ) (audio works well). Only
streaming in ucbrowser works well .

There was no problem in the stock browser. Where should I fix in the custom ROM?

Thanks in advance.
